Let me lift your garden by adding new pots, or re-imagining existing ones... A few carefully chosen containers can brighten up even the smallest space and, with carefully chosen plants, add year round colour and interest to enhance your outdoor space...
From large planters to smaller tubs or pots, I can advise on the best choice of container as well as fill them with gorgeous plants to ensure an eye catching display which will bring life and colour to your patio or paved area.
Summer bedding? Longer lasting perennials? Shrubs or small trees to add height to the scheme... the possibilities are almost endless!
Use gravel to top-dress for a tidy appearance, or cobbles to prevent pesky animals digging out the soil. I can advise on the plants to suit your garden and your ability to keep up with the watering regime...
A drab patio doesn't need to stay that way... Trust me...
The specific needs of each client are key to me being able to give them, not only a beautiful planting scheme but ensuring that they have the best chance of maintaining it.
A client who has the time and interest to take care of more difficult plants is one thing, a client who due to age, disability or Work pressure simply doesn't have the time for fussy plants or extensive watering programmes is something else...
Older clients are often saddened that their once beautiful gardens have become too difficult to maintain. Pots and planters on the patio are often the last thing that they feel able to cope with - but once this becomes too difficult, the garden becomes a sad and depressing place, which reminds them of all they are losing, rather than an uplifting one.
GreenWitch has a few techniques which can allow these clients to enjoy their pots once again and rediscover a confidence in maintaining them. By prolonging their ability to get outside and take pleasure in their garden once more, they can also enjoy all the health benefits which come because of it...
GreenWitch replaces a collection of small pots which dry out quickly with fewer, larger planters which hold water more effectively. higher planters can also allow maintenance from a seated position on a garden chair. Putting one or two plants in each pot, rather than filling them up, further cuts down on the need for watering. Add cobbles to stop weeds and prevent pesky squirrels from digging and voila!
Less watering, minimal weeding and just a spot of dead-heading to do and my lovely clients can now enjoy their gardening and feel connected to their plants, regaining the peace and happiness they once felt when pottering in their garden.
Jobs like this make me happy on every level...
Spring or Summer, Autumn or Winter, your pots can provide a splash of colour whether viewed from the patio or through the window.
Let me make your front door space a moment to stop and smile, or your patio a place to linger with a cuppa in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening...
Even the smallest garden can contain a few pots and planters and with the right planting even the most sterile paved area can be filled with life beauty and colour...
