A Magical Transformation...

This back garden was once a lacklustre space. Large Leylandii in a neighbours garden had dominated the garden for years, leaving the client unable to grow plants with much success. Although the trees had recently been removed, she had become overwhelmed and disheartened. She didn't enjoy her garden or feel able to invite guests to join her there. The space she entered on leaving her back door was nothing like her dream of a gorgeous garden... GreenWitch to the rescue...

GreenWitch suggested painting the depressing brown garage wall a shade of warm cream to lift the mood and make future planting 'pop' (the Client was so delighted with the colour she had the whole house repainted, instantly 'lifting' the shady patio area).

With no budget for total re-paving, GreenWitch advised that the existing Crazy Pave patio be extended to create a uniform surface and a surprisingly spacious area to enjoy the garden with friends and family - especially after new patio furniture was purchased.

GreenWitch landscaped the garden introducing new scalloped borders to the left hand side to contrast with a long deep border to the right.  Nice existing plants were retained and new planting added to create a gorgeous view from the new patio and an inviting space full of year round colour and texture.

Clients are delighted with their beautiful garden and now enjoy it daily, and are proud to invite family and friends to spend time with them in a lovely and inviting space.

Concrete Jungle to Calming Courtyard...

No matter how lifeless the space, GreenWitch can make it bloom...

Lovely client had recently moved into a terraced property with a small back garden which had been completely paved. Budget was tight and was mostly ear-marked for redecoration of the house and as a busy professional person, she had no time or energy left to deal with the garden which had become more of a hell than a haven...

GreenWitch had her work cut out with this one but she set to with creativity and imagination to transform the space...

The paving was too expensive to remove or replace but a good power-wash revealed a sandy colour which, together with the blue fencing created an appealing 'beach' vibe.

Turning the furniture to face the view of trees in the neighbouring gardens rather than the rather unappealing rear of the house was an immediate improvement.

The removal of small pots which need daily watering during hot weather and replacing with easier to maintain large wooden planters and trees in tall pots to create the illusion of a fully planted garden.  Plants were chosen for drought resistance as well as continuing the beach theme. A chic coffee area was created in the messy side return with a neat shed for storage, dividing the two areas.

Client now has an oasis of calm to relax in after work, surrounded by beautiful flowers and even fruit from her trees ... A once sterile space is full of colour, life and harmony.  This is GreenWitch Magic!
