Your front garden is the first impression of your home - for neighbours, guests - but most importantly for you! Let me make that space warm, welcoming and beautiful - a sight to look forward to after a hard day at work rather than a depressing reminder of your 'To Do' List...
Whether it's a dramatic make-over or simply the addition of a few more shrubs, perennials or bedding plants, you will be amazed at the difference I can make to the most uninspiring front garden...
Let me wave my wand and let your garden greet you with the 'Wow'factor...
Lovely client's front garden had seen better days. Visitors to the house were greeted by large dead Leylandii trees and the the theme was continued by the formal Box hedging along the path to the doorway, which was the very definition of 'Moth Eaten'...
Client budget wouldn't stretch to re-paving the driveway and she couldn't afford the thousands of pounds which it would cost to remove the dead trees (which also help screen a busy road running in front of the house...)
GreenWitch put on her Thinking Cap...
Euonymus bushes replace the Box hedging - they are moth resistant, evergreen and in time will meld together and can be trimmed to provide low formal hedging. A line of Bay Trees adds to the French Garden look the client requested and lavender planted between completes the planting.
Front garden is planted using a range of shrubs and perennials, existing white quartz boulders are re-arranged to make a formal edge to the driveway and weed membrane and gravel provide a classy (and cheaper) alternative to new paving to allow cars to use the valuable off-street parking space.
Dead Leylandii are trimmed and shaped then used to support climbing plants such as Clematis and Honeysuckle. New life, scent and colour will bring the ugly trees back to life even better than before...
Front garden is now tidy, functional and full of beautiful plants to welcome the client home...
